In a related meeting attended by some Barilinians held on May 26,2001, at the residence of Bede Balberona Walker in Suisun, California, the group agreed to designate Oping Villafuerte as Treasurer for the Barili Memorial Project.
It was also agreed that Oping was to open a special bank account jointly with Carmel Aguilar and Dennis Estrada to be used solely for funds collected for the Project.
