The Project
The proposed project consists of two phases:
Phase 2
The stairway to the big cross.
The starting point will be where Phase 1 ends. This consists of an on-ground series of flights of concrete steps and landings up of the top of the hill. It will end end at the big Cross.
Right now, access uphill is not only difficult but also dangerous, especially during rainy days. The new concrete stairway will have center handrail for added pedestrian assistance.
Observations and field measurements for Phase 2 will be taken while the work at Phase 1 is underway.
